Interviews at top tech companies

Saw an interesting post at gigaom which talks about glassdoor and a sample set of questions asked at some of the leading tech companies. At first glance, it might seem like a waste of time because do these questions really have any practical usage in day to day work? What the interviewers typically try to gauge when asking these questions is the analytical thought process of the individual – the end answer (or the correct answer) is not that important – the thought process is. Also, such questions are not asked for each position either in such companies. Interesting reading material – here are the links:
